If you are an instructor, quality team member, manager or operator in the connecting electronics industry, you’ll likely come across the need for IPC training. IPC provides globally recognized training and certification on electronics industry standards. Do you think you might benefit from Blackfox IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies certification? Here’s what you need to know.
What Is IPC-A-610 Certification?
The IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies is the most popular and widely used inspection manual for PWB manufacturing and commercial electronics assembly. You’ll learn the visual representations of the reject/accept criteria for all manufacturing classes of soldered connections with virtually every type of component interconnection listed that could possibly be in use in today’s market. The training clearly points out the minimal acceptable conditions for each interconnection and certifies you as an expert. You can demonstrate your knowledge to current and potential customers and employers, meet the requirements of OEMs and electronics manufacturing companies and gain valuable industry recognition for yourself and your company. Choose between Instructor certification to train certified IPC Application Specialists or become a Specialist yourself.
Who Would Benefit From IPC-A-610 Certification?
IPC-A-610 training was created for anyone responsible for ensuring reliability and quality in electronic assemblies. This includes engineers, production personnel, inspectors and quality personnel and managers or trainers. You’ll learn a working knowledge of the IPC-A-610 document and be able to use it to ensure the quality of your own work or that of others. You’ll be officially recognized by the IPC as having an expert level of understanding of the contents of the document and a high level of proficiency in its application and use. As a certified IPC specialist or trainer, you’ll be expected to recertify every two years, but you’re given a 90-day grace period after expiration during which you can obtain an extension and attend a recertification class. After that 90-day period, instructor certification will not be valid. You may also recertify up to 90 days in advance of your expiration date and still have your new certification expiration fall two years after the original expiration date.
If you work in the connecting electronics industry, you can improve your prospects and knowledge by getting certified with the IPC-A-610 course. Whether you choose to become a Trainer or a Specialist, you’ll be showing the world your vast expert knowledge of the subject.
